Weigh In Day & Running Totals for 22 Jun 09
Well yesterday was a nice day off except for the extra curricular activities around the base (Rocket Attacks). Other than that it was a very nice day off from work and from running. Actually I go and hang out at work because I hate spending my day off in my B-Hut while everyone else is trying to sleep. And my bed is extra squeaky so every time I move or breathe for that matter it makes a noise. Today (Monday) was a pretty good day. Since it is my long run day I thought I would actually do a LONG run which I did. Hopefully my legs will keep up for the rest of the week. Today I ran 10.15 miles, burned 1,923 calories, and I ran for 104 minutes. It was a pretty good run except towards the end when my legs kept telling me it was time to be finished. Today was also weigh in day and I hoped not to have a repeat of last week which didn't happen. I weighed in at 250 lbs. and that puts my total weight loss to 32 lbs. I am happy about this because I still have another 8 days left in this month until I hit the half way mark and I am already over 30 lbs. So I am pleased to say the least. It was nice seeing you last night. It helped your mom a little. The reality of your situation hit home with the rocket attack. She has a tendency to worry so much she makes herself sick. I don't want to add this to your worries, but you know how she is. She love her kids so much it hurts her to have you there. My running totals for Sunday: Ran 6.03miles in 1.20 hours and burned 1073calories. My week totals are: Ran 30.29 miles in 6.49 hours and burned 5328calories. I am really happy with the totals and I feel healthy. I am still at the 10 lb. loss. I guess I need to change my eating because I should be losing weight. I am going to add 1 mile on to my totals this week which would be 31 miles. I will add 1 mile a week until I hit 35 then stay there for 2 weeks to a month before moving on. I also need to work on my speed. My knee started bothering me Sunday when I got up to 6 mph so I will just have to experiment. you take care and remember JUST RUN love ya dad
