Weigh In Day & Running Totals for 08 Jun 09

Well since my Internet has been out off and on for the past two days I will make this a short post before it goes out again. I was very happy to have a day off from running yesterday and I think that having my day off from running coincide with my actual day off from work is best. I really don't feel like running on my day off and I normally just sleep the day away. That way my body gets rested up for the upcoming week of work and running. My run today was a pretty good one except I didn't eat anything before I ran. I slept through lunch, dinner, and midnight chow so I ran on an empty stomach and I wasn't feeling that great when I was finished running. So I think I will stock up on some power bars to put in my room so next time that happens I will have a little stash of food in my room. Today I ran 7.5 miles (I'm breaking 40 miles this week), burned 1,438 calories, and I ran for 85 minutes. I will try to run at least 7 miles everyday this week and that should put me well over 40 miles this week. Today was also weigh in day and I weighed in at 253 lbs. so I guess I overcame my first weight plateau. I was kind of surprised that I lost that much this past week. That would put me at a total of 29 lbs. so far and I should definitely be in the 240's by the end of this month which is ahead of schedule. I thought I wouldn't be in the 240's until early July. My totals for the week are. Ran 32.22 miles, time 6 hours 07 min, calories 5731. My weight day is Tuesday, so I will post that tomorrow. We will get that stuff in the mail. Anything else you need please let us know. love ya dad

Thank you for sending that stuff to me. I really appreciate it. I think your totals are really good, just keep up the good work because it keeps me motivated.
