Weigh In Day & Running Totals for 15 Jun 09
Well no change in the weight this week. I am still happy with the progress that I have made so far since being here. My day off from running was a good one. I actually ran today without my Cho-pat knee brace or the IcyHot. So that was pretty good. Another week is under my belt and I am ready to get another week over with. Today I ran 8.1 miles, burned 1,553 calories, and I ran for 85 minutes. I planned on lifting weights today but I grabbed the wrong workout, so I will have to make it up tomorrow morning. I plan on lifting 3 times a week which shouldn't be that difficult. Well I hope everyone's weekend was good and I hope everyone has a great week. I love and miss you all. Until next time...

I did my 4 mile walk on the treadmill yesterday, only about 1 mile of slow running. My week totals are: running 30.2 miles which took 6 hours 56 minutes and burned 6220 calories. I am happy with this! I still did not lose any weight though. It was a better run because I don't feel as bad today. I am going to do 4 or 5 miles today and try and get back to some good mileage sooner than last time. Wish me luck. love ya dad ps we still haven't sent your package, will get it sent this week, sorry
I notice you haven't wrote for awhile, probably something wrong with your internet again. I'll post a couple of my totals. Monday I walked/ran 3 miles in 46 minutes and burned about 500 + calories. Today, Tuesday I mainly ran for 4 miles in 57 minutes and burned 660 calories. Getting started is the hard part. I do alot of slow walking the first mile and by the end I was running 6.2 mph. I have never tried getting back to regular mileage this fast before, but I am holding up rather well. No major problems other than marathon muscle soreness. I do feel like I want to go to sleep all day long thou. I will try and get in my 30 miles this week and see if I hold up. I hope your running is going well. love ya dad
