Somehow during my run this morning I strained my Achilles tendon. I don't know how I did it or what I did but it feels horrible. I will ice it down after I get back from work tonight and then throw some Icy Hot on it tomorrow morning before I head out the door. I will take it easy the next couple of days and probably do some walking if it feels awkward. The big thing is I need to stay active through this because I don't have time to slack off. Maybe if it sticks around, I will hit the weights a little more until this is resolved. Either way I will get my exercise in. I got in 5.19 miles. BE SMART!!

Sorry about your injury. I might have told you this before. I went to the Doc. years ago with that injury. He made me a quarter inch or so lift for my heal which he put under the insole of my shoe. It took the pressure off the achilles tendon so it could heal. He also told me not to run any hills. I have made the same thing many times over the years out of pieces of cardboard and they work great for me. Just an idea. love ya dad
