Running Totals for 13 Jan 10
Well I had no idea that it could get into the 40's here in Okinawa. I think it was around 50° when I went for me run tonight and we had a nasty windchill factor also. Needless to say it was a pretty miserable run but I got through it. It seems like I never got warmed up and my legs ached for the whole run. You can tell that I am not acclimated to the cold weather at all! I think I might have to break down and buy some tights to run in along with an Under Armour long sleeve top if the weather is going to stay like this. Tonight I ran 6.06 miles, burned 839 calories, and it took me 68 minutes total. Chalk another one up to getting out there and getting my run in even though I didn't want too. JUST RUN! You know they don't call it global warming anymore. They looked like fools with all the record lows being set around the world. Now they call it climate change. Catchy phrase because I thought God was in charge of the climate. Not some scientists. love ya dad====you ran any way===good for you
