Running Totals for 16 Nov 09
Well I got this week off on the right foot today. At FBC we did Interval Training which is basically cardio with speed work. The first 1 1/2 miles we did 100 meter sprints and jog the corners. Then the next 1 1/2 miles we did bleacher work. 5 reps (1 rep was up and back down the bleachers) on both sides of the track. Then we did ladder drills on the football field which equaled about 1/2 a mile. It was a really good workout even though I think I strained my hamstring. I will take it easy on it until I know what is going on. Then tonight I got in a 7.55 miler, burned 1,168 calories, and it took me 1:18:03. That is with my cool down also. So my totals for today were 11.05 miles and I burned roughly 1,828 calories today. Not too bad for a case of the Monday's! Until next time...

You are really doing some intense workouts. I hope you are getting the results you want. I read your blog all the time even if I don't reply. When things aren't going well with me, I don't want to bring anyone down, so I don't write. When I see you doing so well it help motivate me. This being Monday I will try again. just run love ya dad
Sorry you are not doing so well. I hope that you can shake whatever is bothering you off, and get back at it. I am sure a good string of workouts will improve your outlook. I am just coming down to the wire here with my PT test and marathon and I am nervous about both. Just trying to get in the work and hopefully it will pay off. Keep your head up and remember working out is supposed to be enjoyable and healthy. Both physically and mentally. I love ya. JUST RUN OR BIKE!! Whatever gets you out that door.
