Running Totals for 23 Jul & 24 Jul 09

Well I didn't get around to posting yesterday because I was a little under the weather and the Internet wasn't being very friendly again. But today I am feeling much better and excited that I only have 5 more weeks of this wonderful place. I am excited that I am getting closer to being home with my family once again. It will be very nice to get things back to normal and spend quality time with Heather and the girls. Yesterday I ran 6.7 miles, burned 1,213 calories, and I ran for 65 minutes. Today I ran 7 miles, burned 1,268 calories, and I ran for 68 minutes. If I do another 6 mile run tomorrow and get in 30 miles next week I will go over 200 miles for the month so I am stoked about that. Well this will be short but I love and miss you all very much. Until next time...

You sound better than you did the other day. I am glad you are feeling better. That would be great to get in a 200 mile week. I am still shooting for 120. Wednesday I ran for 7.25 miles in 84 minutes and burned 1278 calories. Yesterday I had a rest/pig out day. You know me, when things are going great I can't stand it and have to do something to mess it up. Pizza, most of a Symphony chocolate bar and Billy Corn. Of course I did wash it down with healthy water though. Today is the 24th of July our holiday. Mom and I are going for a wheeler ride up on the skyline. Grandma and Grandpa still are not back from there vacation, probably today. Wish you were here, we would grill some burgers. You take care. We miss you a bunch. love ya dad

Dad meant 200 mile month but he said a 200 mile week would be good too. When we have pig out days we are both very bad and we aren't good for each other. One of these days my diabetes is going to kill me if I don't start being good and I mean right now. I need to get this surgery on my knee but I keep putting if off and I can't hardly walk now. We did a Harry Potter marathon so we can go see number 6 and watching movies seem to make use eat. I am glad you're doing well but it seems like your five week mark has been stuck for the last three weeks. It's like the twilight zone. I want it to be four weeks but probably not more than you. I love and miss you tons. Be safe. Love Mom

I know how hard the holidays can be on watching what you eat. It is never a good thing. We are officially under the 5 week mark now since it is Saturday morning here. I just hope the next month flies by and I can't wait to get back home with the family. I hope you both had a good holiday. Talk to you soon. Love ya.
