Running Totals for 6 May 09

Well today was a pretty good run. I switched things up today and went and ran after work. I did this because yesterday when I went in the afternoon I had to wait almost 30 minutes for a treadmill. I almost said screw the run but I stuck it out and waited. This morning there was hardly anyone in there. I don't know why but when I work days it is a lot easier to go run after work but when I work nights it is extremely hard to go run when I get off of work. I really don't get it. Anyways I ran 5.48 miles, burned 1162 calories, and I ran for 65 minutes. I am half way done with my first week of running and it hasn't been easy because I am such a fatty at the moment.

I got my new Pearl Izumi's in the mail today which I love (thanks mom for sending them to me). I won't be able to wear them until i drop quite a bit of weight because if I wore them now to run I would crush them within a month I bet. Anyways, I should be sleeping at the moment so until next time....

You are doing great. I know how it is having to wait for a treadmill. I am glad I am in a job where I can go workout just about anytime. Monday I left my Cho-pat band home and I really paid for it. Tuesday I wore it and still had pain, not as bad. With the mileage we will be doing I need to wear it for every run. I will run my Wed. run this afternoon, I have yard maintanance this morning.. Love ya dad PS. What are you work hours. Are you on 12,10,or 8's and when to when.

I am working 12 hour shifts, and I work 6 days on and 1 day off. My long runs will happen on Sunday, my day off and I think I will take Saturday as my off day. I think we are two peas in a pod Dad because I forget my Cho-Pat everytime I go. Luckily I haven't paid for it yet. I love you both and I am really enjoying this blog thing.

Love, Brandon
