Running Totals for 29 May 09

Well my Internet sucks here and it is hard not to be frustrated by it especially when you pay an arm and a leg for it. But what do you expect when you are in the middle of Afghanistan, I guess I can't expect to have DSL connection, so it is what it is. I just love paying for the Internet and having the connection down all day long. So with that said I better hurry and post my totals before it goes down again. Today I ran 6.26 miles, burned 1260 calories, and I ran for 70 minutes. I am happy tomorrow is my day off from running. Until next time...

Hi. No run for me today. We had to take Grandpa to the hospital again this morning. He had another one of his episodes. This time the doctor cleaned the ear wax out of his ears,(alot). We got the doctor to consentrate on his neck, as whenever he moves it a certain want it triggers the problem. After 3 weeks we finally get an exray. His neck is all out of whack. He has an appointment with Dr. Armstrong for Monday to see if he needs a MRI. His neck is hurting him all the time, he turns his neck a certain way, it hurts really bad and he gets dizzy then he starts throwing up which last forever. I will make sure that he goes to Armstrong this time and follows through with what ever it take to get him fixed. I thought you would want to know. As far as running today I am just not into it. After dealing with grandpa till about 1500 hours today I am more worn out than runnig for 26.2 miles. TV and dorritos night tonight. You take care and have a rest full non running day. love ya dad

I hope they can get Grandpa squared away so they can fix what ever is bothering him. I am sure it is really draining for you to see him that way. He needs to do whatever it takes to make him right again. Hopefully he will go to the doctor and get the help he needs. Let me know what they find out. The day off for me is definately needed. I hope I can get in a good run tomorrow. Love and miss you both. Brandon
