Back in Oki

Well I got back to Okinawa on Monday afternoon and I am happy to be back. The Philippine trip was quite the adventure and now it is back to real life. TDY's (temporary duty) are always a nice break from your home station base. It's good to be home again. I weighed in Monday night when I got back to the house and I was pleasantly surprised to come in at 257.5 lbs. That means I lost 13 lbs while I was in the Philippines. Now all I have to do is lose at least 7.5 more lbs and hopefully I will be good for my PT test. Obviously more would be better so I will hit it hard until May 2nd when I PT test. Yesterday I attended Fat Boy class and it was a pretty good workout. I didn't run in the afternoon. Today another bout at Fat Boy class and I got in 3.87 miles. Then tonight I went for another run and got in 6.13 miles which gives me 10 miles for the day. From here on out it is time to get serious about my weight loss and finally get to where I want to be. I have the goal of being 220 lbs or less by the time the Naha Marathon rolls around in December. This will happen. I am sick of being fat!! I'm sick of looking for clothes that I can squeeze into. I am sick of being the biggest guy in our fuels flight and making excuses of why I am this big. There is no excuse for my weight. Not genetics, not time, not age, etc. NOTHING!! It's time to rise up off my FAT ASS and get my life back now!! Why you ask?

Because I want to live a long and healthy life, that's why!

Until next time...
