Well this Monday marks a new beginning for my fitness. Heather told me about one of her church friends (Liz Tennyson) is a personal trainer and she is working with people in the branch trying to pad her resume. So we gave her a call and met with her today and worked out a plan, or should I say I gave her my plan of what I want to accomplish and she will help me be accountable to what I want to do. I think that is what I need to keep on track is someone asking me why I am not doing what I am supposed/ want to be doing. So here we go. She has me doing 200 push ups a day, I am running one of Hal Higdon's modified training programs (modified because I took out a lot of longer runs because that is not what I am going for right now), and I am lifting 3 days a week. There is a runner's lifting program on Bodybuilding.com. So I am hoping that now that I have someone to keep me focused and accountable for what I am doing, I hope to keep on track and get to where I want to be. It is time to get serious and make a habit of this. Tonight I did my 200 push ups, I ran 5.26 miles, & burned 993 calories. Until next time...
