Hot and Humid

Hot and humid are the two very best words to describe the Philippines (and dirty). Today on the flight line is was nasty hot. Even with drinking a gallon of water and a gallon of Gatorade I still some how got a little dehydrated and a crazy sunburn regardless of the bucket of sunscreen I put on. But it is what it is. Even though I did not want to run tonight I got in one. I still only did half of my workout outside and the rest on the treadmill. I got in another 5.5 miles. I need to keep it up the whole time I am here and carry my tendencies back to Okinawa with me. Good times. JUST RUN!!

P.S. - I love my new shoes!!

Those shoes are sharp looking. If I wasn't having such good luck with the New Balance 1200 series I just might try a pair. What is the % of humidity and what't the temp? Do you have air conditioning in the treadmill room? Keep up the workouts. Dehydration: If you are peeing, your hydrated. If your urine is yellow, drink more. Glad to see you are drinking Gatorade cause you need the electrolites. You know how to do this. I just feel like I am helping when I tell you what to do. love ya dad

Dad says he knows your are not a hat person but maybe you should wear a hat while you are there. And he said drink, drink drink until your eyes float. Take care of yourself. Love and miss you. Momma.....

I would wear a hat more BUT we can't wear hats on the flightline which sucks!! That is where I get burnt the most is when I am out there and unfortunately that is where I spend ALL of my day. The Air Force is going to pay for my skin cancer. The temp is in the 90's with close to 100% humidity. I will continue to drink like a fish and try to stay hydrated. The nice thing is where I run is covered by trees but the treadmill room doesnt have a/c but it has a fan. I will take what I can get. Love you both.
