Weekly Totals & Running Totals for 10 Oct 09

Well my first full week back of running is in the books and I am glad that I am past it. This week has really kicked my butt because of my slacking the past month. I deserve all the pain I have right now but I know it's the "good" kind of pain. I am back on track on my Hal Hidgon training plan and I have 8 weeks to go before the marathon so I need to stay on track. Today was my long run and I got in 17 miles, burned 2,904 calories, and it took me 3 hrs & 20 minutes to complete. The big thing that I took away from this run is that I finished it and I still had more in the tank even if it is at a turtles pace. My weekly totals are as follows: I got in 45.43 miles, burned 7,559 calories, and I ran for 9 hrs & 58 minutes. It was a good week. Until next time...

Good job. 17 in and more in the tank tells me you really didn't lose that much fitness with the month off. You should recover quicker having that lay off. Probably the pavement and the hills are what's kicking your butt more that anything else. We got the roof dried in and will order the metal today. Put it on next weekend. I need to do a post on my blog and I will write more on the roof there. love ya day Just Run.
