Running Totals for 13 Oct 09

Well today's run occurred in the rain which was a good thing. What is it about running in the rain that is so invigorating. Anyways I weighed in Monday and I was 247.6 so that means I l0st 1 lb. this week. I guess I seriously need to look at my eating habits if I ever want to lose weight again. I mean I run 45 miles and lose 1 pound? Something has got to change. Anyways my week looks like this. Tues- 5 miler, Wed- 8 miler, Thurs- 5 miler, Fri- some sort of run, Sat- Rest, & Sun- 18 miler for 36 miles total. I am on 12's the next two weeks so I need to work in my runs around my work. I hope that I can slip away to the gym in the morning to get in my workouts. I guess it's back to the treadmill unless I can get home and hit the road. Today I did a 5.21 miler, burned 823 calories, and went for 53 minutes. I am going to stick closer to what the program actually says to run and not over do it. I will see how that goes.
