Running Totals for 11 Sep 09

Just a quick note to tell everyone Happy Patriot Day (I think that is what they are calling it) and to let everyone know I haven't given up on my blog. Since I ran on Monday I have been trying to get my legs back to normal. I swear, going from the treadmill to the street is like night and day. My legs have killed the last three days. It's like starting all over again. Anyways, I got a chance to try out my new Forerunner 405 and I think that once I figure everything out with the watch it will be perfect. I ran with last night and it worked like a charm. It was kinda neat to see and the data that it kicks out in regards to my run. I ran 5.22 miles, burned 848 calories, and I ran for 49 minutes. The hills of Okinawa are trying to kill me at the moment but I am sure as long as I keep with it and do a few sissy (treadmill) runs during the week I should be fine. I guess we will see.
